So, I decided to try my hands at NaNo-ing this year. I don't feel ready to make an account on the official NaNoWriMo site, so I will use this thread as protocol for my results. The story I will be working on is "A Beast's Tale", an overhaul of a Lordi-themed fanfiction I originally wrote more than 10 years ago. I have no set goal of how many words I want to have down at the end of November, my goal is to make progress every day, even if it is only 100 words, cuz that still makes 3000 at the end.

Accompanying Piko this November, I am also attempting an 'off-the-books' NaNo Self-Challenge. My attempt will be a new fic (yep, another one, ugh) set in the Dishonored universe that takes place during the events of Dishonored 2. As with all of my previous stories, this one once again centers around a set of Original Characters and tells their tale as the main game and characters are relegated to the status of background events.
Let's see how this one goes.
My current goal is to get at least 1000 words done on this fic before the end of the month. Small potatoes I know, but if I do more, then I will update my goal accordingly.

So, it seems I am a bit behind in my progress report, so I shall try to catch up. Unfortunately, I missed the first two day, putting me even further behind.
Posting the first batch of days I did my Nano:
November 1: missed
November 2: missed
November 3: 664 words
November 4: 345 words
November 5: 144 words
November 6: 193 words
November 7: 88 words (did really bad today - had about 280, but the dialogue sounded wrong, so I deleted most of it)
Total so far: 1435 words
Yay!, I got past my goal of 1000 words, so now I'm raising it to 2000.
Piko seems to be kicking my butt so far. She is really taking off!
